Clinitas® eye drops are ophthalmic solutions of high-molecular weight sodium hyaluronate.

Sodium hyaluronate is a substance with optimal lubricant properties, that results in a moisturising effect and stabilisation of the tear film.

The lubricating, moisturising and protective qualities of sodium hyaluronate relieve irritation, dryness, burning and foreign body sensation (feeling of something in your eyes) due to environmental factors, visual stress or mechanical factors such as contact lenses use or after ocular surgery, providing long lasting relief from dry eye.

Clinitas® eye drops are available in both 0.2% and 0.4% Sodium hyaluronate concentrations.

The usual frequency of application of Clinitas® eye drops is 1 drop per eye, one or more times a day.

The usual dosage of Clinitas® eye gel is one drop applied 2-4 times a day as needed, or as required depending on the severity of your dry eye.

Both types of Clinitas® eye drops are suitable to use when wearing contact lenses.

For Clinitas® Gel, if you wear contact lenses then remove your lenses before application and wait 30 minutes until replacing them.
